The "8Bit Balkan" EP (ITK002) release is a while back and since then The Dolomites have been working hard on a video for "Queen of the Game", it got delayed several times due to youtube policy of whoever knows what problems they have over there. But - here we go, it finally reached the light of the day! Serious Japanese Balkan Alien freakiness.

Dolomites` "8Bit Balkan" EP just got charted, okey not just but in October, by Kosta Kostov and made place 7 on his Juno DJ Charts, speeding up to the front BEFORE Schlachthofbronx, Buraka Som Sistema and Analogik. Can you believe???!!!

Then Dolomites` "In Mid-Flight 723" got into this live mix from Andy Kisaragi at the TRANSCONTINENTAL EXTRAVAGANZA party at Arc in Bristol, 26th November 2011. 

And last but not least, Mimi The Hedgehog´s "Full On" from the "Waiting the Summer" EP got some fame on HotRod´s awesome weekly show at New Jersey´s WFMU station, among a couple of very interesting other artists!

Dolomites will be performing a live show at the 7th Art Outside Festival at Apache Pass in Downtown Texas, which takes place between the 7th and 10th of October. Art, Music, Performance and a hell lot of more stuff to do out there! You´ll also find him as a DJ in disguise there - Stefanco Selecta.

"Dolomites releases this amazing EP of super sexy Gyptune heaters on 19th Sept from If The Kids Records. I'm getting strong Monkey Island vibes here, especially from Queen of the Game and In Mid-Flight 723 (which also has a kind of Star Wars-y last 5 seconds... Lucasfilm references abound). None of these are particularly club bangers - though Full Blown has that sexy Balkan dembow which could definitely set a dancefloor off if you picked your moment - but this is really well crafted stuff and makes for a unique, atmospheric listening experience... Just a shame there's not more - hopefully there's an LP in the works."
